"I am asked to wear many different hats."
In Brenda's own words...
"I am asked to wear many different hats, so there is a lot of activity and adventure going on beneath my brims! My adventure began 13 years ago, when I tried on just one “hat.” That hat led to another, and then another. Eventually, news of my hat-wearing began to spread and my phone began to ring. It has been ringing ever since! Welcome to my website⎯and to my world.
So in 2005, I began to help people use what they already had in their homes to transform their living spaces, from bookcases to entire houses. Opportunities grew as satisfied customers told others about my knack for rearranging.
Simple rearranging led to full-house decorating opportunities. Again, word began to spread. Today, I’m asked to transform homes and second homes in Texas and beyond. Sometimes I use something as simple as ties and tweeds in men’s suiting to help me pair colors.
I attended Texas Christian University, where I majored in fashion merchandising and minored in business. As a TCU grad who is married to an Ole Miss grad, I love it when I’m asked to decorate for Texas-OU parties.
Decorating homes led to staging homes for realtors.
When homes sold, I began to help people move. This added two more hats! I held on-site and online estate sales with “the big guys” to help people sell unwanted items. Again, word spread. People also asked me to box everything up for them, move them into their new homes, unpack everything, and then help them decorate. I have a team of six talented people and together we help make moves seamless and worry-free.
I spent two years recruiting Navy Seals and other sharp candidates for the Marketing and Development Project at EDS. This experience, and years spent building relationships with some of the best painters, carpenters and other subcontractors in Dallas, led me to my newest hat⎯project manager for home remodels. Landscaping comes with the territory, so there’s another hat.
Helping others create beauty and building lasting relationships are two dreams that have come true."
